Many SEO professionals are still confused about which type of keywords will work better. Many go for short-tail keywords because of search volume but at a certain point if you cross-check the conversion rate not that much satisfactory. What is actually missing? Sharing some details comparative analysis for all types of keywords in SEO strategy.

1.Volume

  Short tail keywords have huge search volume so we feel that we can get good leads but that does not happen on the ground level. Because many people are searching with these short-tail keywords like students, researchers, etc actually their purpose is totally different from our expectation.   Long-tail keywords have comparatively low search volume. Many people searching for every detail. Probably they are most genuinely looking for any product or services.  Study shows the traffic come through long-tail keywords stay’s more on time & lead conversion rate is higher than short-tail keywords.   Normally more than three words considered  as long-tail keywords

  Short tail keywords have huge competition. Because below than three words like Pizza, car, Phone is having huge traffic these words can’t specify further details     Long-tail keywords have comparatively Low competition because the user specifies all details like pizza shop near me, Used car showroom near me, best phone showroom near in Pune
